About A Light Walk at Perry Farm Park

A Light Walk at Perry Farm Park is exactly what it sounds like—a leisurely stroll through the park, surrounded by thousands of twinkling holiday lights. Bundle up, grab a hot cocoa, and wander a lighted path filled with festive displays created by local artists, businesses, and volunteers.

Every display along the walk is made possible by community sponsorships and donations. Half of all sponsorship funds support the Friends of BTPD Youth Camp Scholarship Fund, and the other half goes right back into growing the Light Walk—so every dollar spreads holiday cheer twice.

The pavilion’s existing permanent lighting will be incorporated into the display, allowing full coordination with the rest of the walk.

What You'll See Along the Walk

The walk winds through the heart of Perry Farm Park, with something new to discover around every bend. Here are just a few of the displays taking shape:

  • The Light Tunnel — step inside a glowing archway of lights near the barn.
  • The Spiral Tree — a towering handmade tree of lights, topped with a wooden star.
  • Light-Up Chickens — the chicken coop gets festive with illuminated chickens, roosters, and friends.
  • The Corn Field — rows of "anti-gravity" icicle lights growing straight out of the ground, a fitting tribute to Perry Farm's roots.
  • Chainsaw Art — hand-carved wooden sculptures, lit for the season.
  • The Grinch — keep an eye out... someone's lurking near the parking lot trying to swipe the cheer.

New displays are added as sponsors come aboard, so the walk grows brighter every year. Local businesses and families can sponsor an existing display or dream up one of their own—contact us to get involved.
