Presented by Green Pro Services
A Light Walk at Perry Farm Park is exactly what it sounds like: a leisurely stroll through the park, surrounded by thousands of twinkling holiday lights. Bundle up, grab a hot cocoa, and wander a lighted path filled with festive displays created by local artists, businesses, and volunteers. And come by during the day too: the displays, the farm animals, and the park make for a great daytime visit, then everything glows after dark.
The walk runs for 37 nights, Thanksgiving night (November 26) through January 3, presented by Green Pro Services.
Every display along the walk is made possible by community sponsorships and donations, which grow the Light Walk and support the Friends of BTPD Foundation's work in the community.
Concept image. The real thing grows brighter with every sponsor who joins.
The walk winds around the farm portion of Perry Farm Park, past pastures, gardens, barns, antique covered wagons, and the animals, with something new to discover around every bend, and new displays are added as sponsors come aboard. Sponsoring puts your name in front of thousands of visitors while supporting the Friends of BTPD Foundation. Here's what's available:
The historic barn rooflines, outlined in lights all season long. Seen by every visitor on the walk and by everyone driving Kennedy Drive and Croswell Avenue, every night.
Rows of icicle lights popping out of the ground like rows of corn, a tribute to Perry Farm's roots.
A high-traffic location along the route for a large-scale display of your own creation, with the option to refresh it throughout the event.
A favorite daytime photo op (we are open in the day too!).
Step inside a glowing archway of lights near the barn. A great nighttime photo opportunity.
Hand-carved wooden sculptures, lit for the season.
This is our real life chicken coop, we are a real farm after all! It gets festive with illuminated chickens, roosters, and friends.
A limited number of lighted wreaths along the walk, each with its sponsor's name.
Create your own display and join the fun alongside the local businesses and groups already on board. Displays need to fit within a 4x4 foot area. Have something bigger in mind? Ask us about a Dedicated Premier Spot.
For families and individuals who want to help light up the park. The first 50 citizen sponsors receive a handmade 12-inch wooden spiral tree, a miniature of the 7-ft spiral tree on the walk.
It looks great on a mantel at home, or on the counter at your business, where it shows your customers you support park district programs.
Sponsor recognition: Sponsorships of $500 and up include a logo yard sign at your display, plus your logo on this page linked to your website. Community sponsors are listed by name with a link to their website. All sponsors are celebrated on our social media. Ready to join? Contact us and we'll find the perfect spot for you.
Free parking is available off Croswell Ave. Follow the lighted lane past the barn and enjoy the stroll!
